Karate MethodsThe primary method of studying Karate art - is the study of Kata formal complexes and psychological training.

Kata is a set of movements, simulating a fight with one or several opponents with different degrees of restrictions on technology and other parameters of the interaction of opponents. In addition to direct defensive and offensive techniques, all Kata include Qigong exercises (art of energy accumulation and management, using the special body positions and respiratory technique). Almost all Kata end at the movement start point. Enbusen - is a motion trajectory during the performance of Kata - built according to canons of Oriental medicine - contributes to the accumulation of energy as well.

Karate Kata are aesthetically beautiful. The fighter during the performance of Kata develops its internal (aesthetic, moral, volitive) qualities.

Karate Katas

In addition to studying Kata Karate, students are taught techniques of Tai Chi Chuan, which is characterized by more gentle movements and promotes excellent relaxation (for more details about Tai Chi Chuan see separate tab)

The Karate educational program is designed for about 10 years of education. The student passes 9 students degrees (KYU) and 3 higher degrees (DAN).

Psychological training.

Goal - to give students a basic knowledge on psychology, as well as clear, simple, free from any mysticism and religious influence system of self-improvement, to teach them how to maintain self-control both in everyday life and in extreme situations. To teach the exciting process of conscious building of their personality, ability to independently cultivate the best human qualities and talents, to be harmonious, healthy, useful for others person.

One of the main methods of psychological training is creation of positive image of the "ME" and self-exploration.

This is why we study the code of the Samurai Bushi-do - which is in fact, the code of the decent person.

Gichin Funakoshi - one of the most respected masters of Karate - gave priority to the spiritual side of Karate and considered it more important than combat training.

He often warned his students: "Without courtesy the spirit of Karate is lost".

A person who practices martial arts, must be characterized by moral purity, kindness, patience, wisdom and strive to inner and outer perfection.

Naturally, these goals will not allow him to stop in his development during whole life. Therefore, a truly wise man will never call himself a master, though studying Karate whole life.

Connection of modesty and courage, courtesy and indestructible martial spirit, which is embodied in a clear and efficient movements - are the main criteria for evaluation of Karate skills.

Funakoshi called the love for the enemy the main secret of Karate. Cooperation and understanding - is, in his opinion, - the ultimate aim of Karate.
